Personally, I think that knitting is a very fun hobby, that can grow into something bigger and it can take over your entire life if you put in enough effort and time into it. Of course, it is not easy to master all the techniques of knitting, it is a challenging part that you have to go through if you want to succeed and become a professional. I really think that everyone would like knitting, when you are doing it for a while, you will have the opportunity to become a part of the knitting community. That is one of the most interesting parts because then you will be able to meet a lot of interesting people that are really talented and share the same or similar interests as you do.
Through knitting, I have found some of my best friends that are part of my everyday life. For that, I am very thankful and happy that I choose to learn knitting as a young kid. I have some friends that have met their life partners through the knitting community, that just shows you how close and connected we are.
One thing that you will never forget is your knitting mentor and all the fun times you two had together. No matter who is your knitting mentor, you will definitely remember him as a good and fun person, mostly because he was the one that taught you all the knitting techniques from which you are now benefiting. I have a special place for my mentor because it was my grandmother who taught me every technique of knitting. I will never forget all the times that we were sitting in the room and knitting for the entire day, every moment with her is special to me.
First Finished Fabric
The first piece of fabric that you will make with you own hands will forever stay in your memory, at least for me it was like that. I still remember the first thing that I have finished knitting and I still have it somewhere in the closet. That piece is not just any other fabric, it means a lot to me and it always reminds me of the starts and how rough my life was back then. When I look at it I immediately remember how lucky I am that I have found this hobby. Knitting helped me out a lot in my life and I will forever be thankful for my grandmother for teaching me.
Knitting For Your Loved Ones
Probably the best feeling that you can have from knitting something is when you get compliments for your finished work. Usually, when you make something for your loved ones, you will get a warm compliment that will further motivate you in continuing knitting. That feeling cannot be described, it is something that you must experience in order to understand me. You will be very proud of yourself because you will know that someone is appreciating your work that you been working on for some time.
